New 9 direct summer 2017 flights make Porto Montenegro even easier to visit

Porto Montenegro announces nine new direct routes to Tivat airport for the upcoming summer season, including flights from EasyJet, flydubai, Transavia France, Thomas Cook and Eurowings Airlines. They will make visiting the Mediterranean’s leading luxury yacht homeport and marina village even more comfortable than ever. Porto Montenegro is 10 minute-drive away from Tivat airport.

New flights – being offered in addition to last years’ direct summer flights – include: Geneva, Bari, Naples, Rome, Verona, Paris, Brussels, Dusseldorf and Dubai. The latter is only the second Middle East destination after Tel Aviv that is now connected with Tivat. With the escalating popularity of Montenegro, almost one million visitors last year at Tivat International Airport alone, it has made it far easier to visit the coastal region of Montenegro.

flydubai will be flying to and from Dubai twice a week whilst EasyJet will be flying via Geneva on a weekly basis. Mistral Air offers great connections from Italy including Bari, Naples, Rome or Verona. If you are flying from Paris, Translavia France will be covering this route three times per week. Flying from Brussels, Thomas Cook and Tui Fly have you covered and Eurowings offers flights coming from Dusseldorf.

Regarding the last year’s summer flights that will still be active this year, the list includes a number of destinations all over Europe: London, Oslo, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Helsinki, St. Petersburg, Minsk, Kiev, Sofia, etc. In the same time Moscow and Belgrade are the only cities linked with Tivat via all-year round flights.

Porto Montenegro is located on the southwest coast of the country and staying here sets you in the centre of the most incredible attractions that Montenegro and the Mediterranean has to offer. Take a drive towards the North of Montenegro and go zip lining over the deepest canyon in Europe, travel East towards Skadar Lake where wild wonders wait to be explored, West and you’re in Dubrovnik, Croatia, home to the set of Game of Thrones to the South you have the gorgeous playing ground of the Adriatic to Sail or simply stay locally and discover the wonder of the UNESCO protected Kotor Bay has to offer.

At Porto Montenegro, there is so much to enjoy, there are numerous events and activities, water sports, regatta races, lounging at by the pool to sultry sounds from the world class DJ on the decks or shopping at any of the numerous bespoke retail outlets in the Marina Village, is it any wonder why this is one of the most sought-after property investment destinations in Europe.

Guests can stay at the luxurious Regent Porto Montenegro hotel which is offering a Summer Chic Package for two including private boat transfer to an exclusive beach club, access to spa and pool club, daily breakfast and more.

Commenting on the new routes, Danilo Kalezic, Senior PR and Marketing Manager of Porto Montenegro, said: “We are thrilled with the launch of the new flight routes ahead of this summer. Our vibrant village community and super yacht marina in the heart of the city offers all of the facilities necessary to create the perfect summer holiday for travellers.”

Other suitable airports to come to Porto Montenegro are Podgorica and Dubrovnik, which are 90 and 60 minute-drive away from Tivat.
